Last week I was fortunate enough to attend an awards ceremony where I accepted a couple awards for the quality of my work. I felt really privileged to be given the star treatment. While in Ottawa I took advantage of seeing my best friend of 15 years ! We went for hair cuts and got our make up done just like we would back in the day. Perfect girls day out !

Packing Day

Tomorrow I head off to Edmonton to catch my flight to Ottawa where I will receive my photography awards. I am really looking forwards to a change of scenery. A Reflection

I’m submitting some work into a magazine and they require a professional head shot so I had to take one. It was a chore and too much longer than it needed to. With two kids moving my equipment and photo bombing me it was pretty stressful. BUT I did manage to get one in.

Today was a very BIG day for me (and my team). We’ve been planning a shoot for months and today was the day. I feel so incredibly blessed to have come into contact with these beautiful women. Our connection is not like any other. We click and fit so perfectly well together. I am very blessed to have them. As always here’s a quick shot of us afterwards.

I let my children dress me today. I’m actually kinda liking my outfit haha. I went out with them looking like this. I bought some makeup (surprise surprise) they were rewarded with candy. I’m not back 100% I decided to take each day as it comes.
